Chicago is one of the most beautiful cities in the USA. It is located in the state of Illinois and sits on the banks of Lake Michigan. The city is bustling with things to see and do and has one of the most amazing food scenes in the USA. Its summers are hot and its winters are freezing with temperatures hitting way below zero in the colder months. The Chicago people are friendly and as long as you stay in the right areas the downtown area is pretty safe. Chicago is full of great pizza places, all competing for the title of best deep dish pizza and you cant leave the city without trying one of its Chicago style hotdogs...just don't ask for ketchup! Chicago is my favourite city I have been to so far and its cool atmosphere has brought me back several times so far!
