Best Casinos on the Las Vegas Strip

Las Vegas is the home of gambling and with that comes a high concentration of casinos all lining the Las Vegas strip, each with its own unique theming and reasons to visit. There are so many hidden activities and quirky additions that make each casino different from the next. On my most recent trip to Las Vegas, I managed to visit most of the big hitters on the strip and have made a list of the best ones to visit if you only have a short time in sin city.

New York New York

Beginning with New York New York, this casino boasts an exceptional exterior along the strip, recreating the iconic New York skyline. The façade features replicas of prominent landmarks such as Lady Liberty, the Empire State Building, and the Chrysler Building. Adding to the excitement is a colossal rollercoaster that winds its way around the entire exterior of the casino. Priced at $14 per ride, the Big Apple Coaster delivers a thrilling experience, offering panoramic views of the entire strip from its heights.

Within the New York New York casino, visitors can explore Hershey's World, a space dedicated to Hersheys candy offering a variety of products and a counter where patrons can personalise their own Reese's Cup. For those seeking unique experience, a chocolate themed bar within the casino serves up chocolate-inspired cocktails. The interior theming of the casino is equally impressive, with a section designed to mimic the ambiance of a New York street, featuring Bagel shops and Pizza joints.

Paris

Nestled in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, the Paris Casino transports visitors through the romantic charm of the City of Lights. Boasting an iconic exterior reminiscent of the Eiffel Tower, the Paris casino captures the essence of Parisian elegance. As guests step inside, they are greeted by a sophisticated atmosphere with French-inspired architecture and décor.

The resort features a replica of the Montgolfier Balloon. Additionally, visitors can indulge in dining at authentic French restaurants, take a leisurely stroll along the cobblestone streets of the shopping district, or enjoy breathtaking views of the Strip from the observation deck of the Eiffel Tower Experience.

The Venetian

The Venetian Casino immerses its guests in the grandeur of Venetian opulence. Inspired by the romantic allure of Venice, Italy, the resort's exterior boasts a recreation of the city's famous landmarks, including the intricate architecture of St. Mark's Campanile and the Doge's Palace. Stepping into the casino, visitors are greeted by the breathtaking Grand Canal Shoppes, complete with gondola rides navigated by singing gondoliers. The Venetian effortlessly marries the charm of Venice with the thrill of the Strip, creating a truly unforgettable atmosphere for its guests.

Caesars Palace

Caesars Palace, is arguably the most famous resort on the Las Vegas strip. Its large campus epitomises luxury and grandeur. Inspired by the opulence of ancient Rome, the exterior features imposing pillars and Roman-inspired statues. The resort's architecture is complemented by lavish accommodations, exquisite dining options, and world-class entertainment, including renowned headlining performances. The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace provide a high-end shopping experience, while the Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis offers a retreat amidst Roman-inspired pools and cabanas. Whether guests are drawn to the excitement of the casino, the elegance of the accommodations, or the allure of entertainment, Caesars Palace continues to reign as an enduring symbol of luxury and sophistication on the Las Vegas Strip.

The Mirage

The Mirage is one of the more underrated casinos but it is a great one to visit. It is most famous for hosting the Cirque du Soleil Beatles Love show and its shimmering golden facade is decorated with a huge banner of the Beatles overlooking the Las Vegas Strip. Upon entering, guests are greeted by a spectacle of opulence, with cascading waterfalls, lush tropical gardens, and a towering erupting volcano that hosts a show in the evening.

The Bellagio

The Bellagio Casino sits in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip. Its iconic Italian-inspired exterior and majestic fountains are mirrored inside with meticulously designed interiors adorned with exquisite art and ornate fixtures. With its unparalleled blend of luxury, entertainment, and impeccable service, the Bellagio remains a crown jewel in the vibrant tapestry of Las Vegas.

Nestled within the Bellagio lies a serene oasis known as the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. This enchanting sanctuary transports visitors into a world of natural beauty and tranquility, contrasting the bustling energy of the Strip just outside its doors. Spanning over 14,000 square feet, the botanical gardens showcase a rotating display of meticulously crafted floral arrangements, seasonal plants, and whimsical sculptures. From vibrant blooming flowers to towering trees and cascading water features, each tableau is curated to reflect the changing seasons and themes.
